Sealcoating is the most important factor in maintaining your asphalt parking lot. By sealcoating your asphalt it protects it from weather, oil, and salt. Also, when you sealcoat your parking lot/driveway it brings beautiful curb appeal to your property.
When to Sealcoat?
Commercial Asphalt Group recommends sealcoating a new parking lot 8-12 months after the new asphalt is installed. Than every 2-3 years after to rejuvenate the asphalt to prevent potholes and cracking. The weather should be 55 Degrees and rising during the application process to get proper curing.
How long do I need to stay off the fresh Sealer?
Commercial recommends to stay off fresh sealer for 24 hours for proper dry time.
